While some of the claims previously made on this page were boldly exaggerated (such as Otto having several wives - he only has one), he still lays claim on having created illustrations for nearly all major publications in the US and many abroad.

He has also done animations for web and TV, designed a couple of watches for Swatch and illustrated and designed books.

Many of these activities have earned him awards from American Illustration, Communication Arts and the Society of Illustrators in New York, to name a few.

One of his more unusual projects was a two-month stay with the United Nations’ mission in East Timor to design posters, murals and other graphics as the country was gearing up to its first democratic elections.
